Introduction
Diarly is dedicated to providing a private and secure journaling experience. Our commitment to your privacy is paramount, and this Privacy Policy outlines our practices regarding any personal information for users of the Diarly app.
Our Privacy Promise
Diarly is designed with your privacy in mind. In line with our commitment:
- We Do Not Collect Your Data: Diarly does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, journal entries, or data inputs. All data you enter into Diarly remains solely on your device.
- No Third-Party Sharing: Since we do not collect data, there is no information to share with third parties, including advertisers or data brokers.
- Complete Data Control: You have full control over your data. Everything you write in your Diarly AI journal stays on your device unless you choose to share it externally.
Data Storage and Security
- Local Storage: All journal entries and user inputs are stored locally on your device. We employ industry-standard security measures to protect the app on your device, but we recommend you also protect your device with a strong password or biometric security.
- Backups: If you choose to back up your device data to cloud services (such as iCloud or Google Drive), please refer to the respective service’s privacy policy and security measures. Diarly does not interact with these backups directly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our information practices. If we make any material changes, we will notify you by in-app notification or through a notice on the Diarly website before the change becomes effective.
